Since we are located only 1.5 Km from the "Europa Park" away, we are the ideal starting point for the "Europa Park" visit. Beyond this, the central situation of Rheinhausen turns out to be an optimal base for expeditions into the close Black Forest, the Wine region or to Alsace. Daily trips to Freiburg, Strasbourg or Basle will give your "Europe experience" a cultural touch. If you enjoy our new, mediterranen deer- garden with boocie course and jumping well - exactly the correct flair for nice summer evenings. Use in addition our new free hotel shuttle bus; it fetches you from the European park Rust or the nearest station and/or drives you also there. We are endeavored by constant change and renovation work to offer to you which "Hostelry to the Deer" wanted also to always be (and is): a house of the of Baden rural hospitableness!!
Ordered pick-up food today. Fish and meat . Both were perfect. Also lamb's lettuce with a very tasty dressing. Absolutely to suggest .
Very nice service. Gladly again.
Unfortunately the restaurant was closed in the evening otherwise it was great
Had our confirmation yesterday in the beautiful winter garden. The food was very, very delicious, the meat tender as butter, the vegetables to the point, soup, salad, the side dishes, especially the croquettes, just great. The staff is also very friendly.
Great service and great food
Everything great. Again and again. 🤩
Just not good. The furniture in the room is old and worn. Cold PVC floor in the room. And all for a mere 98 euros Who the choice
Rooms clean except for small corners, nice staff, super friendly, breakfast also great with a lot of choice
If the hotel in the park is full, you can alternatively spend the night here.
Hotel restaurant room simply awesome eat dreamlike anytime again 😊
Room clean and tidy. All super friendly. Animal-friendly 🤩 price-performance top. Breakfast plentiful. As a family, what more could you want
Very well eaten and well received. Thank you.
It's really good
Great food great staff nice atmosphere especially with children ideal for eating out as there is a playground and animals
I highly recommend it. Top kitchen friendly staff and we will go back again.
I had a liver spaetzle soup as a head start. Tongue with broad noodles and a side salad. As evidence, I ate the apple strudel. The menu was good and plentiful. We had four dogs with us. Three big ones and one small one. We were welcome and had enough space

Very friendly and uncomplicated. Perfect if you are looking for something cheap outside the Europapark. Very tasty breakfast.
Chance upon this hotel/restaurant. GREAT food!🤤, Great service. Menu does comes with english explanations. Enjoyed our lunch totally! A little too big portions for Asian thou😅. So if you are small eater, suggest to share. The salad comes with awesome dressing as well (a small.portion for one. I think comes with the mains). This restaurant is near Europa Park, in a nearby small town. There is also a tiny local farm behind this restaurant with ponies, birds, squirrels, chickens and ducks. Loved those cute ponies 😍!
Restaurant: very, very generous dishes. We couldn't finish. Here you will find German specialties and BBQ meats. I recommend the BBQ specialty which can easily be enough for 3 people. The chicken is tender but the beef less so. Hotel: very cute old style. Comfortable room. 5 minutes from Europa Park by car
Stayed here for work for 3 nights. The hospitality and friendliness of the owners is 🔝 The breakfast buffet is plentiful and every need is catered for. Breakfast tastes better in the cozy winter garden 😋 However, there were 2 disadvantages: 1. Found the noise level from the street a bit loud at night and that could not be properly darkened 2. The mattress. Very, very soft and saggy. Really had shoulder pain which I have never had in a bed in a hotel 😥
Nice hotel
A very good hotel with a very warm welcome. The rooms are a little small but have all the necessary comforts. It is a family business. Its proximity to Europa Park makes it a must. The renovated rooms are very successful. I highly recommend this hotel. The staff speaks French also which is very convenient.
The lunch was super.
The location is not far away from Europa-Park, which is the reason for us coming here to Rust in the first place. The 2-star rating should be bumped up in my opinion. The ambience is very cosy, the hallways are decorated very well with various things making the Inn look like a chalet. The appartment we stayed in has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a main room with enough space to accomodate all 10 of us easily. The staff here are very helpful, going out of their way to find us electric fans to help with the heat these past few days, extra towels for the kids and various other extras.
micro room micro bathroom its okay for one day to go europa park not more !
It's an "okay" hotel. Cleanliness can certainly be improved and the room, even though being advertised as non-smoking, smelled of smoke when we got there. I also felt that the place was very dusty and the bathroom could do with some improvement (the shower-head was broken). Though there is wifi available it is only accessible in the main building. I was located in a house about 300 meters away and didn't have any access which was a bit of a let-down.
Terrible experience! After a long day of driving, we just dropped by to have a dinner on a Monday evening. Literally everything went horrible here. Lowlights of the evening: Dining area: - The dining area was half full, yet they kept us waiting for a table for 5 minutes. Drinks: - The waiting time for the drinks was too long (two small beers) and the glasses were DIRTY! Yuck! "Food" : My wife ordered a fish fillet and I ordered a fried camembert with mayo. 1. First I tried to order tartar sauce but the waiter simply said: "We don't have tartar sasuce" - this was really annoying and unprofessional. How dare a waiter say something like this? Every cook learns to make this basic sauce on the first day in cooking school. 2. The fish fillet was full with pinbones. 3. The fried camembert and the fries weren't freshly made. They were cheap, store bought-in, frozen stuff. 4. I never received the mayonaise and the waiter never mentioned it ever again. !!!!! And all for this cr*p they kept us waiting for 1.5 hours !!!!! (We were just about to leave when they brought us the plates. ) It was a relief for leaving this place. This is a never-again-experience and would not recommend this "restaurant" to my enemies either!
